About the authors



W. Richard Walker is an associate professor of psychology. His primary research area is in autobiographical memory and emotion. Specifically, he studies how the emotional content of event memories changes over time and how these changes are influenced by individual differences, cultural differences, rehearsal processes, and psychological illnesses. He has published over 35 articles and book chapters on these topics. In his private time, he and his wife work with birds of prey.






Dr. Cory R. Scherer is an associate professor of psychology at Penn State – Schuylkill, where he has taught. His research focuses on social psychology. His concentration includes research on trait influences, person memory, positive psychology and evolutionary explanations of attraction and jealousy.









Dr. Jessica L. Hartnett is an assistant professor of psychology at Gannon University in Erie, PA. Her research interests include the positive psychology, affective forecasting, the fading affect bias, informed consent, and the teaching of statistics.
